Rules for the Protection of Minors' Personal Information

This policy applies to the 3uRemote products and services provided by 3UP Network Technology PTE. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or “we”). The Company promises to do its best to protect the personal information and privacy of users (hereinafter collectively referred to as “users” or “you”) who use the 3uRemote platform.
We recognize the importance of protecting the security and privacy of personal information of teenagers (i.e., minors under the age of 18 years) and children (specifically, minors under the age of 14 years). On the basis of 3uRemote's Privacy Policy, we explain our rules and related matters regarding the collection and use of personal information from children and adolescents (hereinafter collectively referred to as “minors”) in the “Rules for the Protection of Personal Information of Minors” (hereinafter referred to as “this policy”) Where this policy is silent, reference should be made to the Privacy Policy applicable to the use of 3uRemote. In general circumstances where the user has not expressly stated otherwise, we cannot identify and do not judge whether or not the personal information collected and processed is the personal information of minors , and we will collect and process the user's personal information in strict accordance with the 3uRemote's Privacy Policy.
Special instructions for guardians:
In order to protect your child's legitimate rights and interests, we hope that you will ensure that your child uses our products and submits personal information to us with your consent and guidance. We will take special measures to protect such information in accordance with this Policy. If you disagree with the contents of this Policy, please ask your child to stop accessing/using our products and services immediately.
Special instructions for minors:
The age at which minors are categorized and the rules relating to the protection of minors' privacy vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. If you are 18 years of age or older but are still a minor under local law, you should also read this Policy under the supervision and guidance of a guardian.
If you do not have full capacity for civil behavior due to age, intelligence, or other factors, please read this Agreement carefully, especially the terms identified in bold, accompanied by your parents or other guardians (hereinafter collectively referred to as guardians), and confirm that you fully understand and agree to be bound by all of the terms of this Agreement before you begin to use the Service.
If you are a minor, you need to read this statement carefully with your guardian (parent or other guardian) and use our products, services or provide information to us with the consent of your guardian.
Please understand that the products and services we offer may include products and services provided by third parties, and that you may be able to log in and use third party products and services through our products. Please be aware that such third parties may collect, use or process information about you that requires the third party to obtain separate consent from the Guardian. We recommend that you obtain your guardian's consent before authorizing a third party to process your personal information.
We remind you to read this Policy carefully and to make sure you understand the rules for handling the minors' personal information, especially those parts that are highlighted in bold.
I. Collection of personal information from minors
1. We will strictly fulfill our obligations and responsibilities for the protection of personal information of minors as stipulated in laws and regulations, and follow the principles of justified necessity, informed consent, clarity of purpose, safety and security, and use in accordance with the law.
2. When we need to configure protection measures for underage users in accordance with laws and regulations and industry management requirements, we may collect minors' names, ID card information, cell phone numbers or prompt you to provide your guardian's cell phone number and email address to establish contact with us. In certain products and services involving payment, we may jump to the relevant page of the third-party payment and require the guardian to log in and fill in the relevant information, so that the guardian can know and manage the payment behavior of minors.
3. If a guardian voluntarily provides us with the personal information of a minor when using the information distribution function, he or she is consenting to the collection and use of the minor's personal information in accordance with the contents of this Policy. Please be aware of this and choose carefully.
4. The guardian can choose whether to fill in or provide us with certain information. Please understand that the guardian's failure to fill in or provide certain specific information may result in our products and services not functioning properly or not achieving the effects of the services we intend to provide, and the guardian and the minor may not be able to use our products, services, or related specific business functions properly.
II. Use of minors' personal information
We use the information we collect about guardians and minors for the following purposes in strict
compliance with laws and regulations and our agreements with users:
1) Verification of the identity of minors and guardians
2) Provision of necessary products and services, specific functions of
products and services
3) For optimization of products and services, safety and
security
If we need to use the personal information of guardians or minors beyond the above mentioned purposes, we will inform the guardians and minors again and obtain the consent of the guardians.
III. Management and disclosure of minors' personal information
1. Mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, etc. occur As we continue to develop our business, in the event of mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, and other transactions that result in the sharing or transfer of the personal information of guardians and minors to a third party, we will notify the guardians and minors of the relevant circumstances by means of push notices, announcements, etc., and will continue to protect the guardians' and minors' personal information in accordance with the laws and regulations, and in accordance with standards no less stringent than the standards required by this Policy, or will require a new administrator to continue to protect the guardians' and minors' Personal information of guardians and minors.
Generally, we are prohibited from disclosing personal information of minors, but we may use personal
information of minors for the following purposes:
-Comply with applicable laws and regulations and
other relevant provisions;
-Compliance with the provisions of court decisions, rulings or other legal
proceedings;
-Comply with the requirements of the relevant governmental authorities or other legally
authorized organizations;
-We are reasonably sure of the need to comply with laws and regulations and
other relevant provisions;
-Use that is reasonable and necessary for the implementation of the
relevant service agreement or this Policy, for the protection of the public interest, for the protection of
the personal and property safety or other legitimate interests of our customers, us or our affiliates, other
users or employees.
2. We may share a minor's personal information with a guardian only if the guardian has given prior consent and has taken relevant compliance measures that meet the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations. For example, we may share some of a minor's personal information (e.g., user name, account number, and the minor's payment history for certain of our products and services, etc.) with the guardian, who may access and manage the relevant personal information.
3. We are committed to maintaining the strict confidentiality of personal information about minors and will only share personal information about minors in accordance with this Policy and with your express authorization.
4. We have a dedicated security department and data security process to protect the safety of minors' information. We adopt a strict data use and access system to ensure that only authorized persons have access, and we conduct security audits of data and technology in a timely manner.
IV. Storage of minors' personal information
1. The personal information of minors that we collect and create in the course of our operations is stored in Singapore and is not transferred or stored outside of Singapore.
2. In the event that our products and services cease to operate, we will notify guardians and minors by, for example, push notifications, announcements, etc., and will delete or anonymize the personal information of guardians and minors within a reasonable period of time.
V. Correction and deletion of minors' personal information
During the use of 3uRemote products and services by minor users, in order to make it easier for guardians and minors to access, correct, and delete relevant personal information, we have provided guardians with appropriate operation settings in our product design, and guardians can also use the contact information provided by us to give feedback and inquire about relevant information. We will contact guardians in a timely manner after verifying their feedback. Please understand that during the verification process, we may need the guardian to provide personal information such as the minor's account number, identity information, contact information, etc., so that we can continue to respond to the guardian's needs after completing the identity verification and verifying the issue.
1. Access to minors' personal information
Guardians and minors can view personal information provided or generated by minors in the course of using our products and services, including, but not limited to, usernames, passwords, avatars, nicknames, genders, and actively published content.
2. Correction of minors' personal information
When guardians and minors discover errors in the personal information we collect, use and process about minors, you may contact us to make corrections. We will take timely steps to correct the problem after completing identification and verifying the issue.
3. Deletion of minors' personal information
Guardians and minors may contact us to delete the personal information of minors collected, used and
processed if any of the following circumstances exist. We will take prompt measures to delete it after
completing identification and verifying the issue:
-If we collect, store, use, transfer, or disclose
the personal information of minors in violation of the provisions of laws and administrative regulations or
the agreement of both parties;
-If we collect, store, use, transfer, or disclose personal information
of minors beyond the scope of the purpose or for a longer period of time than necessary;
-If the
guardian withdraws consent;
-If the guardian or the minor terminates the use of the product or service
by logging out or other means.
Please note, however, that if guardians and minors request us to delete specific personal information, it may result in the minor not being able to continue to use our products and services or certain specific business functions within our products and services. If a guardian discovers that a minor's personal information has been collected without the prior consent of the guardian, please contact us promptly and we will take steps to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.
